The Virtual Worlds Association (VWA) Annual Forum is a reference meeting point for Europe’s immersive technologies ecosystem. The Annual Forum reflects this mission: it is where strategic priorities are discussed, cross-sector alliances are formed, and Europe’s Virtual Worlds agenda takes shape.

The VWA Annual Forum 2026 will be held in Valencia in conjunction with EuroXR 2026, creating a unique convergence of scientific excellence, industrial innovation and policy leadership.

The Apply AI Summit marks the 1-year adoption of the Apply AI Strategy, concluding the first European AI Innovation Month –a series of online and in-person events showcasing AI innovation and adoption across Europe. This hybrid event event takes place on 17 November 2026, at the EGG (Brussels) and online, combining physical and virtual activities via a Virtual Conference Platform.

The EQTC 2026, the latest in the EQTC series, will be dedicated to reinforcing Europe’s leadership in quantum technologies by fostering and promoting a collaborative ecosystem that includes academia, industry, and governmental bodies.  

In light of the impending EU Quantum Act and next phase of the European Quantum Flagship, this event will serve as a critical platform for discussing strategic directions, sharing innovations, and engaging the entire European quantum community. 

Hosted at the 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗸𝗲𝘀𝗸𝘂𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲, EFECS 2026 will gather Europe’s semiconductor and ECS community under the theme: “𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀: 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿, 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵”.

Registration for the ECS Brokerage Event 2027 will open soon. The event brings together the brokerage activities of the industry associations AENEAS, EPoSS and INSIDE into one networking event dedicated to project proposals for the Chips JU Calls.

Join Europe’s leading minds in robotics and AI at ERF2027, hosted in Birmingham—one of the continent’s most innovative and dynamic regions. From its roots as the “workshop of the world” to today’s breakthroughs in advanced manufacturing, AI, and healthcare, the West Midlands continues to shape the future of technology.

The European Robotics Forum is Europe’s premier event for the robotics and AI community, bringing together over 1,600 researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators in a space where ideas are transformed into action. ERF2027 provides a unique opportunity to connect, collaborate, and explore the technologies shaping Europe’s future—driving competitiveness, sustainability, and long-term growth.

European data spaces are gaining ground. Organisations across sectors are moving from exploration to implementation, and the conversation is shifting towards what viable participation looks like at scale.

The Data Spaces Symposium 2027 is where that conversation happens. It brings together organisations building and operating data spaces, businesses looking for value in joining them and policymakers shaping the conditions for adoption.

Three themes shape the 2027 programme: the business value and impact of data spaces; scaling as the route to financial viability and long-term sustainability; and data spaces as enablers for industrial AI and a foundation for its trustworthiness. The European Data Space Awards will recognise initiatives that have made measurable progress in these areas.

The fifth edition of the symposium takes place on 9–10 March 2027 at The EGG in Brussels, organised by the Data Spaces Support Centre together with BDVA, Gaia-X, IDSA, and partners across the ecosystem.

The International Conference on Engineering and Quantum Information Sciences (ICEQIS), organized by the World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology (WASET), is scheduled for March 18–19, 2027, in Brussels, Belgium. The event brings together academic scientists, researchers, and industry practitioners to present and discuss developments across quantum information processing, quantum cryptography, quantum computing theory, and quantum metrology. Authors can submit original research contributions, with camera-ready papers and early bird registration due by late February 2027.

Data Week is the spring gathering of the Data and AI research and innovation community. In Data Week, the participants share knowledge and results, discuss topics of common interest, find synergies, build new collaborations and identify new challenges and recommendations. Data Week also links the communities and their results to the European policies and market needs and brings European initiatives and activities closer to local communities.

The next edition of the AI, Data and Robotics Forum (ADRF), organised by Adra, will take place in Athens, Greece. More information will follow.
